It was my dream of capturing sunrise shots of Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park, Utah(30 miles from Moab) and I was all ready to do a before sunrise morning hike to the arch in my recent trip to Moab. But after reading a lot on this and talking to the NP ranger I thought that I may not get good shots in the morning as this place is normally crowded in the morning with lots of photographers before sunrise. So I decided to go to Dead Horse State Park to capture morning colors, which was less crowded and went to Mesa Arch 1 hour after the sunrise. To my surprise, Mesa arch was still glowing and I also managed to capture Sun rays in the same frame. Please see the shots below and let me know your feedback.
