This page is dedicated to the snow shots I have taken over a period of last 4 years while living in Denver Colorado. As you must be aware that winter in Colorado, especially on the mountains is really beautiful. People from across the country visit Colorado Mountains for skiing related activities but mountains also provide scope to the photographers to capture the nature. Although Spring and Fall are good season for photographers and during summer more opportunities are there to camp and take early morning or night time photography, winter time is equally beautiful for nature photographers – Frozen lakes, snow filled mountain peaks, ski areas, Partially frozen rives provides so much to the photographers. We just have to be prepared to hike in the snow filled trails.
These shots I have taken in my recent trip to Arches National Park in Moab, Utah. I got to spend quality time this time on my 4th visit to one of the most scenic National park in US. Lots of great hiking trail and this place is full of amazing landscapes.
Best areas within NP where I like to spend time are
1. Windows area
2. Park Avenue area
3. Delicate arch, Off course, especially if you hike the 3 mile roundtrip trail
You can see my other pictures of Moab attractions in these posts.

I have been to Moab, Utah several times as it was on my way to different road trips to west coast. On all those occasions I visited almost attractions there but never got to spend much time in any of those places as I was always in hurry to reach to my final destination. But this time (April 2015) I have decided to drive to Moab and stay there for 3 days and spend quality time in each attraction. The only goal this time was to hike and capture beauty of those attractions. I had one of the best hike of my life when I visited Little Wild Horse Canyon trails (post here). Also this time I manage to capture some good shots of Moab attractions. I have visited Arches National park which I feel one of the most scenic National Parks in the United States. Additionally visited Canyonlands National park, took some early morning shots in Dead Horse Point State Park & Mesa Arch in Canyonlands NP (post here). Also spend good amount of time in Goblin Valley State Park which is popular but still not very known compared to other major attractions in Moab.
While coming back to Denver, I selected one of bet scenic drives in Utah, Rte 128 which run along the Colorado River and every inch of this road is filled with scenic spots. I can fill an entire memory card just by taking pictures of this route. The highlight of this route was Fisher Tower campground where you can take amazing pictures.
